Michalis ARFARAS was born in Athens in 1954.

From 1974 he continued his studies at the HBK Braunschweig and settled in Germany.

Specialised in engraving and the art of books and worked in animated films and experimental cinema.

His work stands out for the skilful combinations of the entire range of image reproduction techniques, from the traditional to state-of-the-art technologies.

He lives and works in Hildesheim and Athens.
