Achilleas KENTONIS was born in 1963, Nicosia, Cyprus.

He studied Engineering, Physics and Fine Arts in the University of South Alabama, USA and Universitad de Castilla la Mancha, Spain.

As a researcher scientist he participated in researches of NASA, the University of Cyprus and the Aegean University in different research and European programs.

As a visual artist he realized personal exhibitions and was selected by the Ministry of Education and Culture and other cultural organizations in Cyprus and abroad to represent Cyprus in different European and international Salons / exhibitions, such as Biennials and Triennials, at the fields of photography, engraving, video art, short documentary and animation films, sculpture, installation, architecture, visual poetry.

He collaborated with various theatrical groups and the National theatre as a stage and costume designer.

Ηe realized more than 30 short films/ videos / documentary/ animations

He realized urban interventions / actions, online projects, geopolitical art editions, international projects. Ηe also organized and /or participate in symposia, conferences, lectures around the world.

Founder of the center Multum in Parvo which researches the electromagnetic and geomagnetic interferences with the human body.

Founder of the ARTos Research and Cultural Foundation in 2000, ResArt as an alternative space for residency in 2006, microARTos in Madrid in 2008 and the "Be the Change" in 2012.

These are contemporary platforms devoted to arts, science/research and in the philosophy of well being and activism.

With Maria Papacharalambous they were awarded by the University of Cyprus Award for their Contribution to Culture and Society in Cyprus 2008.
